If you are operating your individual Minecraft server then you must add in more RAM to avoid sport lag.
I even have a regular Non-modded version of Minecraft, and I have devoted 4GB of RAM to Minecraft servers.
If you play Minecraft on a PC that has a excessive RAM specification, you can boost your server by adding or allocating more RAM to it.
And should you play the modded model of Minecraft, allocating 8 GB of RAM will work fine.
Note that simply allocating extra RAM might not all the time really help.
